If I see one more fucking “lightworker” talking about “ Violence solves nothing uwu” and “We’re all human” concerning these protests and blm ISTG. These hoes don’t want to speak up until blk & brown folx get angry and their precious Target gets burned down. They never keep this same energy for the people in positions of power and privilege. I protested from 9am Thursday to 5 pm Friday. I hit as many protests I could, from some around my area to ones in NYC. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I started feeling ill and had to go home to rest. I spent today recharging at home and this evening I did a binding spell to bind police from doing harm to protesters. To my fellow witches, it’s great to do magic if you can not physically attend the protests, but if you are able try to get out there. Be safe, be smart, and don’t pull a me and protest until the point of getting a 102.3 fever and a sinus infection 😭.

if you are white (like me) remember, us white people are the support, not the voice. DO NOT speak over black voices, instead use your privilege for good, protect black people and protesters, raise up black voices. LISTEN. LEARN. LOVE.
Quick PSA to all the witches trying to cast spells, especially baby witches.
If you wanna cast a spell to help the black lives matter movement,please DO NOT cast a hex. I am not against hexes in the slightest, but if you’re a baby witch, please leave that to more experienced witches. You don’t know if it will backfire you or not and you don’t want to risk that. Also the whole system is much bigger than you. A simple hex will not stop police brutality.
You know what you can do though? Cast a protection spell. Instead of trying to hex the police, protect the protesters. It will be more affective AND safer.

My most recent post about joining the blackout and supporting #amplifymelanatedvoices was well intentioned, but misguided.
Instead of doing a blackout on social media, I will be only posting things related to the protests, POC voices and experiences, police brutality, and reform until further notice.
